Deep dark ruby garnet with violet highlights. Pronounced minerality. Ripe plums in a frame of perfectly integrated wood. Taut and long-lasting elegance with hints of nougat.

South to southwest / green and blue schist; quartz veins
Vine age
9 years. The vineyards were cultivated as such for centuries, but were closed down in the 1940s. The soils were allowed to rest and regenerate for 6 decades.

Spontaneous fermentation in open fermentation racks, pressing after 21 days, malolactic fermentation
Storage / Removal
26 months in used barrels. 36 months on the bottle.
